Hi, I’m Alexis!
A queer, black, biracial, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher. I support the LGBTQIA+ community, trans and BIPOC community as they explore their identity, healing, body liberation and self-compassion. My approach is client-centered, affirming, and grounded in the therapeutic relationship. I believe the greatest gift of therapy is in the therapeutic connection formed between the client and the therapist and I work to create a welcoming, celebratory and affirming space.
I work with adults, teens (16+), and couples navigating identity exploration, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, and body acceptance.
I believe you are the expert on your own journey and I am excited to see how I can best support you in embracing the truest, most authentic version of YOU!
In my personal time you can find me trying new restaurants and spending time with my wife and friends, practicing yoga, cuddling my dog, Penny Proud, or reading a sapphic fiction book. I also love engaging in crafts and starting a million new hobbies (most recently embroidery) and am matcha and boba tea OBSESSED!
