Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do in-person sessions?
Yes, I offer in person sessions via walk and talk sessions. Please reach out for in person availability.
What ages do you see?
I see clients ages 16+. I thoroughly enjoy working with transition age youth (ages 16-25), but also work with many clients who are outside this age range
How do I know if I need therapy?
Therapy can be useful if you are going through life transitions, exploring or navigating your identity, experiencing family stressors or conflict, struggling to cope with overall anxiety or depression as well as needing a space to talk about struggles outside of your natural support system. You do not have to be in crisis to seek out therapy and can seek out therapy just to learn more about yourself.
How long will it take for me to "heal"?
Healing is not linear and I truly believe it is a life long process. I can’t answer how long it will take to heal, but I can tell you that I would love to walk alongside you on your journey to living and embodying the most true and authentic version of yourself.
How often should I come to therapy?
I typically like to see clients either on a weekly or biweekly basis, to start in order to build rapport and foster connection when we first start working together, but we will collaborate on frequency of sessions and work to best meet your needs. Over time, the frequency typically lessens and if new life stressors come up we might increase frequency again.
